Upload a clip and let your AI surf buddy hand back a coach's read, served as a single magazine page.

New here? Quick start guide

Who this is for

  • Surfers who want an objective read on their form
  • Anyone wondering "what should I fix first?"
  • Self-coached surfers without easy access to a real coach
  • Anyone drilling between surf sessions — pop-up reps at home or a surf skate run

How to use it (under a minute)

  1. 1️⃣ Pick your board — classic or performance longboard, midlength, shortboard, fish, or Land Training (pop-up practice or surf skate).
  2. 2️⃣ Upload your clip — mp4 / mov / avi, 10–30 seconds recommended, up to 500MB. A surfing ride, a living-room pop-up rehearsal, or a skate session all work.
  3. 3️⃣ Hit Analyze — Gemini reads the footage for ~30 seconds to 1.5 minutes.

📹 What clip gets the best analysis?

The coach reads your body — stance, knees, torso lean. The clearer your body is in the frame, the sharper the feedback.

Example of an ideal surf clip: filmed from the side with the whole body in frame
✅ Aim for a clip like this — side-on, your whole body in the frame
Surfer too small and far away in the frame
❌ Too far / tiny
Surfer's body cut off at the frame edge
❌ Body cut off

✅ Works best

  • • Filmed from the side (not from behind / not head-on)
  • Whole body in frame, head to board
  • One ride — pop-up through the wave
  • 10–30 seconds long
  • • Steady camera that follows you
  • • Daylight, you're clearly visible

❌ Hard to analyze

  • • You're a tiny dot far away
  • • Body cut off at the edges
  • • Heavy spray or backlight hiding you
  • • Very shaky or fast-zooming footage
  • • Mostly paddling / many rides crammed in
  • • Dark or blurry footage

Tip: a side-on clip where your whole body stays in frame gives by far the most accurate read.

Frequently asked

Q. Is my video stored anywhere?

No. It's deleted the moment analysis ends — from our server and from Gemini. Only the text report is kept (signed-in users): 3 days on Free, 21 days with credits, forever on Pro.

Q. Do I need to sign in?

No, but it helps. Without signing in you get 1 free trial. Signed-in users get 1 free analysis per day plus saved reports. Need more? Buy credits or go Pro for unlimited + progress comparison.

Q. Where are my reports saved?

Only for signed-in users — your reports are tied to your account. Auto-deleted after 90 days, or delete them anytime from My Reports. Guest reports vanish when the browser tab closes.

Q. The report feels too generic. Why?

Common causes: the clip is too short (under 5 seconds), the angle hides your stance, or the ride is cut off mid-wave. Best results come from a clip showing one ride from start to finish.

Q. Can I share my report?

Yes — use the share button at the bottom of the report. Only the analysis text and frame captures are shared (never the video). Links expire 30 days after creation.
